What is the bundle transport?
The second phase of heat exchanger maintenance procedure is the bundle transport.
When the tube bundle is on the ground a transporter robot called straddle carrier or truck mounted, transports and then places it in the washing area where cleaning robot start to wash it, all it without any crane.
Finally when the tube bundle has been cleaned the transporter robot picks up it and placed it where the bundle puller insert it into the shell.
